This interior offensive line class is pretty unique. The reason for that being, most of the top prospects were offensive tackles in their college career. Due to a plethora of reasons, there are many offensive tackles who I expect to and I believe should move inside at the next level. This list features the players I personally have listed as interior linemen on my board. There are even more prospects whom I have listed as offensive tackles, but many others believe should move inside, such as Will Campbell. If you want to check out my offensive tackle rankings you can find the link at the end of this article. Here though, I will be going over my top 15 interior offensive lineman rankings, so let’s get into it.

1. Tyler Booker – Alabama
Age: 21 | Height/Weight: 6’5″, 320 lbs
2024 Stats: 778 snaps played | 0 sacks allowed | 3 hits allowed
Value: Round 1

Booker is one of the most polished guard prospects to enter the league in recent years. His tape is defined by devastating power and elite grip strength that allows him to control reps from start to finish. With rare arm length for an interior player and an advanced understanding of leverage, he consistently displaces defenders off their spot and maintains position through the whistle.

As a pass protector, he’s a fortress. His anchor is rock solid, stonewalling bull rushers with ease and showing exceptional awareness for blitz pickups. He’s also violent as a puller, bringing pop on contact and clearing lanes for ball carriers.

Booker’s one limitation is his lateral quickness. He lacks the foot speed to consistently get to second-level defenders or recover if beaten early in a rep. He struggles to maintain clean angles in space and can miss on reach attempts. Even so, his floor is incredibly high, and he will be a plug-and-play starter Day 1.

2. Donovan Jackson – Ohio State
Age: 22 | Height/Weight: 6’4″, 315 lbs
2024 Stats: 816 snaps played | 2 sacks allowed | 5 hits allowed
Value: Late Round 1 to Early Round 2

Jackson is a high-upside guard with the athletic profile of a tackle and the frame to match. His burst, lateral mobility, and strength jump off the screen. At the point of attack, he generates movement quickly and sustains with excellent grip strength. He shows a rare ability to mirror and reset in pass protection, giving up very little ground against finesse rushers.

What sets him apart is his versatility—he has enough tools to kick outside in a pinch and enough fluidity to operate in any blocking scheme. He handles twists and blitz packages with poise and diagnosis that feels veteran-like.

However, his hand placement can get erratic, particularly when attacking in space, where he occasionally whiffs due to over-aggression. He also has occasional trouble sizing up smaller, quicker defenders off the edge. Despite these flaws, Jackson has enormous potential and could develop into a cornerstone interior lineman.

3. Grey Zabel – North Dakota State
Age: 23 | Height/Weight: 6’6″, 315 lbs
2024 Stats: 970 snaps played | 1 sack allowed | 2 hits allowed
Value: Late Round 1 to Early Round 2

Zabel is a do-it-all lineman whose versatility is unmatched in this class. He’s logged snaps across the offensive line but projects best as a center or guard. His lower-body flexibility and hand strength allow him to anchor and recover with authority, and he routinely finishes blocks with the type of nastiness teams covet.

He thrives when pulling or climbing to the second level, using his smooth mobility and football IQ to reach landmarks on time and seal defenders out of the play. His hips and ankles unlock fluidly, giving him an immediate reset button if a defender gets underneath him.

The knock is his shorter arms, which limit his ability to fully lock out and control defenders from distance. He also plays with a narrow base at times, leading to balance issues and missed assignments. Still, Zabel’s ceiling is very high, with fantastic ability to be a plus starter at guard, and he would be my top center in this class if that is where he ends up slotting in.

4. Jonah Savaiinaea – Arizona
Age: 21 | Height/Weight: 6’4″, 325 lbs
2024 Stats: 738 snaps played | 2 sacks allowed | 4 hits allowed
Value: Round 2

Jonah is a former tackle with the build and traits to be a high-level guard at the next level. He’s got a compact, powerful frame with thick limbs and a powerful core, allowing him to reset the line of scrimmage with raw upper-body strength. His hand fighting is excellent, and his ability to trap and mirror defenders at the point of contact makes him a disruptive force.

He gets off the ball with purpose and consistently climbs to the second level, showing good timing and pad level through the strike zone. In pass pro, his core balance and hand activity allow him to neutralize most rushers once engaged.

His issues show up with his footwork—he lacks the lateral quickness to recover once beaten and doesn’t anchor as cleanly as you’d like. His leverage in pass protection also needs to be more consistent. Still, his run-blocking prowess and versatility make him a strong second-round pick.

5. Tate Ratledge – Georgia
Age: 23 | Height/Weight: 6’6″, 310 lbs
2024 Stats: 500 snaps played | 1 sack allowed | 2 hits allowed
Value: Round 2

Ratledge might be the most explosive athlete in this group. His lower-body power and finishing mentality jump off the tape—he consistently drives defenders into the dirt and plays with a tone-setting attitude. His ability to win with leverage and power gives him one of the best anchors in the class.

His recovery ability is a major plus, and when he’s in control, his grip strength and base make him nearly impossible to shed. As a drive blocker, he’s excellent at running his feet and creating vertical movement.

However, Ratledge has a narrow positional profile, having played exclusively at right guard. He’s also prone to overextending and occasionally getting off balance trying to make a highlight-reel finish. His injury history, including knee and ankle issues, may give teams pause. Despite that, his ceiling is tremendous if he can stay healthy and refine his hand placement.

6. Wyatt Milum – West Virginia
Age: 23 | Height/Weight: 6’6″, 315 lbs
2024 Stats: 706 snaps played | 0 sacks allowed | 0 hits allowed
Value: Late Round 2 to Early Round 3

Milum played exclusively at left tackle in college but projects best as a guard in the NFL due to his short wingspan and athletic limitations. What he does have is undeniable power—his punch is violent and jarring, and he finishes blocks with attitude. In the run game, he opens massive lanes with his burst off the line and ability to latch and drive.

His anchor is elite. He absorbs contact and settles in quickly, rarely being walked back. He also shows above-average bend and body control for a lineman his size.

Where Milum struggles is in space. His lack of lateral agility and range makes angle blocks a challenge, and he doesn’t always reach his targets cleanly at the second level. Balance and technique issues creep up when defenders force him to move laterally. Still, his college tape is filled with dominant reps, and he could thrive inside if developed properly.

7. Jared Wilson – Georgia
Age: 21 | Height/Weight: 6’3″, 310 lbs
2024 Stats: 810 snaps played | 0 sacks allowed | 1 hit allowed
Value: Late Round 2 to Early Round 3

Wilson is an elite athlete for the center position. He boasts rare speed, lower-body explosiveness, and technical refinement that shows up in every phase of his game. His quick feet and lateral mobility allow him to reach defenders easily and mirror in space. Post-snap, he transitions fluidly into engagement with a clean, efficient strike.

He excels in identifying pressure and reacting quickly, making him an ideal fit for zone-heavy offenses. His leverage and pad level give him early control, and his urgency keeps the pocket clean.

The main drawbacks are his lack of raw strength and inconsistent anchor. He doesn’t move defenders off the ball with power and isn’t a mauler in the run game. His grip strength is average, and stronger defenders can slip off blocks late in reps. Still, in the right system, Wilson’s upside as a cerebral and athletic center is enormous and he is my top pure center prospect.

8. Miles Frazier – LSU
Age: 23 | Height/Weight: 6’6″, 320 lbs
2024 Stats: 902 snaps played | 0 sacks allowed | 1 hit allowed
Value: Round 3

Frazier brings NFL-caliber size and versatility, with the ability to line up at either guard spot and even swing out to right tackle in a pinch. His frame is thick and well-proportioned, and his play in pass protection is among the cleanest in the class. With an elite anchor, sharp processing skills, and smooth mirroring, he makes quick work of most interior pass-rushers.

He rarely lunges or panics under pressure, staying patient and poised through reps. His hands are consistently well-placed, and his ability to recover mid-rep is a standout trait.

That said, his run blocking lags far behind. Frazier lacks finishing power in the run game and doesn’t generate much push at the point of attack. He struggles to land second-level blocks and shows limited lateral mobility. While his pass protection makes him Day 1 ready, he’ll need significant development in the run game to become a complete guard.

9. Jackson Slater – Sacramento State
Age: 23 | Height/Weight: 6’3″, 310 lbs
2024 Stats: 639 snaps played | 0 sacks allowed | 0 hits allowed
Value: Round 3 to Round 4

Slater is a small-school standout who dominated at left guard throughout his college career. He plays with excellent leverage, keeping his pads low and base wide. His upper-body strength and grip allow him to control defenders, especially in double-team scenarios where he turns into a people-mover.

He’s also an effective puller with good bend and vision when working in space, often springing backs on power and counter plays. In pass protection, his technique is solid—measured footwork, good posture, and excellent hand timing.

However, Slater lacks the elite athleticism and size you’d like to see, and his 2024 knee injury could delay his development. He can be stiff at the hips and struggles in recovery when beat laterally. Still, he’s a bully in close quarters with the potential to become a starter if given the right system and time.

10. Seth McLaughlin – Ohio State
Age: 23 | Height/Weight: 6’4″, 305 lbs
2024 Stats: 565 snaps played | 0 sacks allowed | 0 hits allowed
Value: Round 4

McLaughlin is a technician at center with years of experience and a strong understanding of gap-scheme blocking principles. He processes defenses quickly, identifies movement pre-snap, and plays with excellent body control and core strength. He’s a finisher with a strong base and clean transitions from snap to engagement.

His football IQ shows in how he positions himself—always working angles and redirecting defenders to create creases in the run game. He runs his feet through contact and shows the effort and nastiness to finish plays.

Unfortunately, McLaughlin comes with serious medical red flags after a torn Achilles in November, and he lacks the size and length you want in an every-down NFL center. His athleticism is just average, which limits his ability to make plays outside a phone booth. Still, he could be a Day 1 contributor in the right scheme if healthy.

11. Dylan Fairchild – Ohio State
Age: 21 | Height/Weight: 6’5″, 320 lbs
2024 Stats: 875 snaps played | 1 sack allowed | 1 hit allowed
Value: Early Day 3

Fairchild has a strong physical profile with the frame to excel at guard. He’s a solid pass blocker who holds up well in base protection and shows flashes of power. His technique needs refinement, and he’ll need to improve in the run game before becoming a consistent starter. Still, he’s a developmental prospect with clear upside.

12. Jake Majors – Texas
Age: 23 | Height/Weight: 6’3″, 305 lbs
2024 Stats: 1,042 snaps played | 0 sacks allowed | 2 hits allowed
Value: Early Day 3

Majors is a highly dependable center with excellent mobility and a high football IQ. He rarely makes mistakes, stays on schedule, and processes stunts and blitzes efficiently. His lack of size and play strength limits his ceiling, but his consistency and athleticism give him starting potential in zone-heavy schemes.

13. Jalen Rivers – Miami
Age: 22 | Height/Weight: 6’6″, 320 lbs
2024 Stats: 583 snaps played | 1 sack allowed | 1 hit allowed
Value: Early Day 3

A college left tackle, Rivers is best projected as a guard at the next level. He has the size and length teams covet, along with enough fluidity to handle inside assignments. While raw in technique, he offers intriguing upside and could grow into a starter with coaching and reps. A classic Day 3 swing at long-term value.

14. Luke Kandra – Cincinnati
Age: 23 | Height/Weight: 6’5″, 320 lbs
2024 Stats: 803 snaps played | 0 sacks allowed | 1 hit allowed
Value: Early Day 3

Kandra is the definition of a steady depth piece. He has ideal size, doesn’t commit penalties, and understands how to win with positioning. While his ceiling may be capped, he’s a high-floor player who could step into a spot-starting role without issue.

15. Connor Colby – Iowa
Age: 22 | Height/Weight: 6’6″, 310 lbs
2024 Stats: 743 snaps played | 2 sacks allowed | 2 hits allowed
Value: Early Day 3

Colby is the sleeper of this interior line class. He has a rare blend of size, athleticism, and finishing power that jumps off tape. He explodes off the ball, plays through the whistle, and brings legitimate upside as a starting right guard. With proper development, Colby could turn into one of the steals of the draft.
