Five-star quarterback from the 2028 recruiting class has officially trimmed his list.

2028 5-star quarterback Neimann Lawrence is down to his final 10 schools of his recruitment, with those being Miami, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, Michigan, Kentucky, Oregon, Notre Dame, Florida, and Virginia Tech, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The 6’1 dual-threat quarterback out of American Heritage high school, is ranked as the #4 quarterback in the country and #7 player in the state of Florida per 247Sports. While it is still early on in his recruiting cycle, the list shows how much national attention the rising quarterback is receiving.

As he prepares for his junior year ahead, Lawrence will be transferring to American Heritage after spending last season with Miami Northwestern, where he went 131 of 185 on passes for 2,603 yards, 39 touchdowns and 6 interceptions after leading the Bulls to a FHSAA Class 3A championship game appearance. Lawrence looks to lead American Heritage to back-to-back state championships next season after losing both of their quarterbacks.

With there being another full recruiting cycle before Lawrence makes his final decision, the focus now shifts back to Friday nights in South Florida as the talented quarterback looks to continue to build his résumé before making his final decision.
