Today the FAU Owls faced the USF Bulls at Raymond James Stadium.
The game started off steady. FAU scored the first points with 11 minutes left in the 1st quarter
USF’s first drive was stopped by FAU’s defense and they were forced to punt. FAU’s second drive, 3rd down they throw the ball and it is caught by USFs defender #26 Tavin Ward in the end zone.
FAU quickly got the ball back again and scored another touchdown this time it was a run-in touchdown by QB Michael Johnson Jr.
After that USF made a quick run downfield and with a touchdown that was called back, Nay’Quan Wright was able to beat the FAU defenders and ran it into the endzone for 6. At this point, it was the 2nd quarter, FAU would still lead by one touchdown
A few more scores by FAU’s Larry McCammon and USF’s Gunnar Greenwald made it 21-14 at Halftime. With a lot more of the game ahead of us, it was looking to be close. After halftime, we quickly found out who was going to win.
FAU by halftime had 14 first downs, 0 penalties, and almost 300 total yards. It really looked like USF made it easy on them. To recap USF played Alabama earlier this season and they held the Crimson Tide 3-3 till the second half. Did USF just completely not plan at all and let their guard down for the dominate FAU?
The Owls scored 21 in the 3rd quarter, allowing 0 points by the Bulls.
These TDs would be completed by,
Micheal Johnson Jr. (2nd one of the day) – 5 yd. run
x2 by Lajohntay Wester – 17 yd. pass by Daniel Richardson and 67 yd. punt return
Another 14 from the Owls in the 4th quarter:

A completely outstanding performance by the Owls tonight.
