PALM BEACH GARDENS- Palm Beach Gardens C/LS (’25) is the New Era Prep Lineman of Week 8!

Saunders was voted as Lineman of the Week by 33 percent of our viewers. For those that do not know, you can find all of our weekly superlatives on the New Era Prep Twitter account!

When asked about being named Lineman of the Week, Camden said:

“I am thankful to my teammates, Coaches, Family and friends for voting for me for lineman of the week.” Saunders stated. “It’s an incredible achievement and I’m thankful for being recognized.”

In last week’s (October 12) 34-0 district victory at Royal Palm Beach, Saunders shinned on offense and special teams, recording 5 pancakes, opening 12 running lanes, and a tackle on special teams. When asked about his performance at Royal Palm, Camden said:

“Our win over Royal Palm was a solid team performance. My team and coaches helped me work hard and perform well that evening.” Saunders said. “On the line I snapped fast, accurate and blocked to help the QB and receivers make gains. I’m a long snapper as well and all my snaps were on point and precise. I was also super excited to have my first solo tackle of the season on the punt return.”

Congratulations Camden Saunders for being named Lineman of Week 8! Saunders and the Palm Beach Gardens Gators will host Palm Beach Central on Friday, October 20. Kickoff is slated for 4:30 P.M.
