Palm Beach County, FL.- After a full off-season of hype, the 2025 Spring Football season came and certainly did not disappoint.
This off-season served as sort of a rebuild for Palm Beach County, as the majority of the 561’s household names were members of the 2025 graduating class, and have now gone onto bigger and better things, by taking their talents to the collegiate level.
With all of these star seniors preparing to play on Saturdays, this past weekend gave multiple underrated players from across the County their first true opportunity to thrust their names into regional superstardom.
It’s a weekly tradition for NewEraPrep to release a X (formerly Twitter) poll and let the fans vote for their champion. The following categories were voted upon:
Weekly MVP
Offensive Player of the Week
Defensive Player of the Week
Breakout Player of the Week
Without further ado- let’s take a look at who came away with NewEraPrep’s Weekly Honors, Spring Ball Edition!
MVP: Rhys Hall, WR/DB Jupiter High, 2026
561 Spring Ball MVP:

Darren Presley (RB American Heritage)- 85 yards, 2 rush TD, 1 2PT
King Pierce (RB Lake Worth)- 6 carries, 120 yards
Jupiter High’s Rhys Hall had himself a weekend. Hall dominated the Park Vista Spring Showcase, recording 63 receiving yards, 3 receiving touchdowns on offense, alongside 5 tackles and an interception defensively. As you can tell by this impressive stat line- Hall did it All for Jupiter Friday night.
In a loaded Jupiter offense that features 6foot4 phenom Ayden Passley on the outside and KJ Larsen at Tight End, Rhys Hall is going to feast from the slot. While carving up the middle is the name of his game, don’t be fooled, Rhys can also line up outside and stretch the field vertically any given snap.
Offers- Lenoir Rhyne

Offensive Player of the Week: Jordan Johnson, QB Palm Beach Gardens, 2027
The development of Palm Beach Gardens QB1 Jordan Johnson has continued to impress everyone. This was a big spring for Johnson, as he solidified himself as one of the top QBs in his class. All weekend, Jordan was doing what he does best, and that’s tossing the ball around the yard to his receivers. Jordan finished Gardens’ Spring Jamboree with 155 yards and 2 Passing Touchdowns in an incredibly display of arm talent.

Breakout Player of the Week: Tyson Reynolds, RB Spanish River, 2027
561 Breakout Player of the Week:
— New Era Prep (@EraPrep) May 19, 2025
Tyson Reynolds (RB Spanish River)- 80 Rush Yards 1 TD
CJ Soto (ATH Benjamin)- 2 Rush TD 1 FR TD
DeAndre Young (ATH PBG)- 6 Tackle 3 PBU 1 INT
Ryder Zuniga (WR/S JCS)- 4 Tackle 1 INT 1 FF
Spanish River RB Tyson Reynolds had himself a very strong performance in the feature back role vs Treasure Coast. Reynolds recorded 80 yards from scrimmage (longest 19 yards) and 1 rushing touchdown. At 5foot 10, 220lbs; Tyson is a stockier back that absorbs contact while keeping the legs churning. Throw on the film from Friday night and you’ll see a lot of broken tackles and yards after contact.
When the season comes around, Tyson Reynold’s stockier power back play style will perfectly complement Jacorrion McCrary’s scat back style to form one of the top RB tandems in our area.
Amazing Spring Game! Some of my highlights. https://t.co/4vd0cgbxRZ@RiverBoyz0 @CoachDav_3 @CoachMicahJames @wardth09 @CoachLaSala pic.twitter.com/bhdQTOkWH3
