WEST PALM BEACH- Reggie Workman, Senior Wide Receiver from The King’s Academy is your 561 Week 5 MVP!

When asked about his MVP nod, Reggie said:
“I am beyond grateful to be selected as this week’s MVP. It is a testament to my hard work, dedication, and the support of my teammates and coaches.” Workman said. “With that being said, I plan to not be complacent and strive to contribute, perform, and lead to keep this drive going with my guys.”
Last week, Workman put the TKA Lions on his back, recording 4 total touchdowns during his team’s 36-28 victory against Gulliver Prep. When the Lion’s needed him most, Reggie made the clutch play.
During the Gulliver game, Workman recorded:
6 Receptions
60 Receiving Yards
1 Receiving Touchdown
8 Carries
61 Rushing Yards
2 Rushing Touchdowns
85 Passing Yards
1 Passing Touchdown

When asked about his performance against Gulliver last week, Reggie said:
“When it comes down to my performance against Gulliver, I just locked in on what the Coaches were telling me to do and got it done.” Workman said. “Throughout the game, I stepped up, dialed in and continued to do what my coaches told me.”
Workman’s trust in his coaches is paying off, because at the halfway mark of the season, Reggie has recorded:
24 Receptions
315 Receiving Yards (518 All Purpose Yards)
6 Receiving Touchdowns (9 Total TDs)
14 Total Tackles
