WEST PALM BEACH – King’s Academy (8-1) and Benjamin (4-4) will square off in this rivalry game tonight (Nov. 4).

This one is for a year’s worth of bragging rights.

KING’S ACADEMY LIONS

King’s Academy is currently on a seven-game winning streak and has not shown any signs of slowing down in recent weeks. This team has taken down two Top 10 opponents on their way to the playoffs.

The Lions have only lost one game this season – which came in Week 2 against Glades Central – and they have not looked back since. Their offense is clicking and their defense has been on another level with the emergence of Joshua Facon, who led them in last week’s district victory over Inlet Grove.

SKINNY: Benjamin is loaded with talent and has a great coaching staff that kept the players focused despite the struggles. Tonight will be another chance for the Buccaneers to prove themselves as a Top 10 team in Palm Beach County.

SKINNY: King’s Academy is currently waiting to officially be named the District 9-2M champion, according to the FHSAA. Tonight could be a determinant of that, as it is in a three-way tie with fellow district teams Inlet Grove and Glades Central.

The Lions will want to put this game away, avenge last year’s 42-6 blowout loss, and move into the playoffs as district champions.

The kickoff is set for 7 p.m. EST at King’s Academy in West Palm Beach.
