PALM BEACH COUNTY – After 11 weeks of the regular season, the upcoming games for Palm Beach County teams will matter a little bit more now.
On Nov. 6, the FHSAA announced the playoff matchups for every classification. With that, we get a little more clarification as to which Palm Beach County teams not only made the playoffs but who they will be playing in the postseason.
In total, 14 Palm Beach County teams found their way into the FHSAA playoffs, with some of them also getting to host a playoff game.
Pahokee, which finds itself as one of the top two seeds in Class 1 Rural, earned a bye week for the regional quarterfinals.
With that being said, here are all of your FHSAA postseason matchups that include Palm Beach County teams.

Class 1R – Region 4
No. 2 Pahokee – 8-2 regular season
Regional Quarterfinal matchup: BYE
The Pahokee Blue Devils will have to wait to find out who their playing in the postseason, as they earned a bye week in the regional quarterfinals. The Blue Devils will get a home playoff matchup in the regional semifinals, where they will play the winner of No. 3 Chiefland and No. 6 Newberry.
Class 1M – Region 3
No. 2 Cardinal Newman – 10-0 regular season vs. No. 3 Benjamin – 5-4 regular season
If you’re a fan of rematches, the Class 1M regional semifinals feature an interesting Palm Beach County rematch.
No. 2 Cardinal Newman and No. 3 Benjamin played each other on Sept. 9, with Cardinal Newman coming away with a 36-14 victory at Benjamin.
This time, they’ll meet at Cardinal Newman.
The winner of this matchup will play the winner of No. 1 Chaminade-Madonna and No. 4 Avant Garde Academy in the regional finals.
Class 2M – Region 3
No. 8 Inlet Grove – 7-2 regular season
Regional Quarterfinals matchup: No. 1 American Heritage-Plantation
No. 4 Boynton Beach – 8-2 regular season
Regional Quarterfinals matchup: No. 5 The King’s Academy – 8-2 regular season record
No. 6 Saint Andrew’s – 7-3 regular season
Regional Quarterfinals matchup: No. 3 Calvary Christian Academy
Class 2M features one Palm Beach County matchup, as Boynton Beach will host The King’s Academy in the regional quarterfinals.
As a result, at least one team in the county will find its way into the regional semifinals.
The winner of that game will host the winner of the American Heritage and Inlet Grove.
Saint Andrew’s also finds its way into the postseason, where it will have to make a run strictly on the road as the No. 6 seed. Should the Scots defeat Calvary Christian, they will play the winner of No. 2 Cardinal Gibbons and No. 7 Pine Crest.
Class 3M – Region 3
No. 4 Atlantic – 7-3 regular season
Regional Quarterfinals matchup: No. 5 Plantation
No. 6 Dwyer – 7-3 regular season
Regional Quarterfinals matchup: No. 3 Blanche Ely
Heading into the final week of the regular season, the Atlantic Eagles were not set to host a postseason matchup.
But a victory against Santaluces pushed them ahead of Plantation, who they will host in the regional quarterfinals.
Also in the region is Dwyer, which faces a tough task in the regional quarterfinals.
The Panthers take a trip down to Pompano Beach and face off against Blanche Ely.
Class 4M – Region 3
No. 1 Palm Beach Central – 9-1 regular season
Regional Quarterfinals matchup: No. 8 Jupiter – 5-5 regular season
No. 4 Santaluces – 8-2 regular season
Regional Quarterfinals matchup: No. 5 Stoneman Douglas
No. 7 Boca Raton – 6-4 regular season
Regional Quarterfinals matchup: No. 2 Monarch
No. 3 Palm Beach Gardens – 7-3 regular season
Regional Quarterfinals matchup: No. 6 Wellington – 6-4 record
As expected, Palm Beach Central finds itself at the top of this region, where it will host Jupiter.
Also hosting home playoff games are Santaluces and Palm Beach Gardens, the latter of which will host fellow Palm Beach County opponent Wellington.
Boca Raton will not host a postseason game, but it will have a chance to create an upset on the road against Monarch.
As for the second round?
Keep an eye on a potential matchup between Palm Beach Central and Santaluces. Both teams will have to win their regional quarterfinals, but the opportunity is there.
