PALM BEACH GARDENS – There will never be another player exactly like Malcolm Tucker.

We can say this in confidence because the Palm Beach Gardens senior athlete can do almost anything on the field. It is with our pleasure to present to you a kicker, a punter, a kick returner, a punt returner, a wide receiver, and a running back at times.

Mr. Everything is our Special Teams Player of the Year because he can do it all.

Let us go over what the 5-foot-10, 170-pound senior has accomplished this season for Palm Beach Gardens.

WEEK 1 HERO

Tucker, who was selected by our voters as the Special Teams Player of Week 1, kicked a game-winning extra point that propelled Palm Beach Gardens to a thrilling 39-38 overtime win on the road over Atlantic (Delray Beach).

In addition to that, Tucker was 4-for-4 on his extra points and made a field goal for the Gators (9-4 final record).

That’s not all.

Tucker even caught a 4-yard pass from senior quarterback/MVP of the Year candidate Brand Campbell and had a 9-yard carry in the area’s best regular season game.

“There’s nobody like me in the county,” Tucker said. “No one.”

“Mr. Everything,” Palm Beach Gardens head coach Tyrone Higgins said of Tucker, who was 5-for-5 on his extra points during their 35-28 overtime road win over Monarch in the Class 4M regional semifinal round. “I can always depend on him. Don’t forget the catches that he made. The boxing in the perimeter. He can do it all.”
