ORLANDO – The first half has been a lot of back and forth, but the Sooners are showing their 6-6 record doesn’t matter tonight (Dec. 29). 

Scoring breakdown in the first quarter:

•Ryan Fitzgerald 22-yard field goal – 3-0 FSU 

•Dillon Gabriel 22-yard pass to Jalil Faooq – 7-3 OK

Scoring breakdown in the second quarter:

•Dillon Gabriel 8-yard rushing touchdown – 14-3 OK

•Jordan Travis 16-yard pass to Ontaria Wilson – 14-11 OK

•Zach Schmit made 51 yard field goal – 17-11 OK

Going into the locker room, FSU has some pretty good momentum. But Oklahoma is pressing on right now. 

FSU offensive stats: 264 total yards – 94 rushing yards, 170 passing yards

FSU defensive stats: 38 tackles, seven tackles for loss, four sacks

Oklahoma offensive stats: 225 total yards – 115 rushing yards, 110 passing yards 

Oklahoma defensive stats: 22 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks
