WEST PALM BEACH – The transition from the summer offseason to the upcoming fall season has begun.

In what was perhaps the final team camp of the summer in Palm Beach County, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) hosted a three-day session that featured a series of padded football  games at Lake Lytal Park from July 18 to July 20.

The four teams that participated were:

•Palm Beach Gardens

•Santaluces

•Lake Worth

•John I. Leonard

Many players had a slew of standout moments – this goes for all four teams in attendance. But admittedly, we were not able to capture the entire three-day camp from start to finish.

Nonetheless, we still found a way to get a lot of footage from this year’s FCA Camp.

Let us start with Palm Beach Gardens running back/linebacker Aiden Malcom (2024). He stood out in a big way, as evidenced by several runs that resulted in touchdowns.

Watch two of them for yourself right below.

For Malcolm, who is considered to be the most slept-on high school football player in Palm Beach County, this was a true breakout moment in more ways than one. The 6-foot, 205-pound running back/linebacker reflected on his FCA Camp experience and much more in an interview you can see below.

And just when you thought we were just going to go by Malcolm’s awesome FCA Camp showing, we have proof of what he did on the field this past season for Palm Beach Gardens.

Watch Malcolm’s Hudl film below.

Meanwhile, we have a tandem from Santaluces that stood out in their own way. This happened on one particular play during Day 2 of FCA Camp.

Santaluces linebackers Anthony Roman (2024) and Travis Robinson (2025) spoke on the interception play against Palm Beach Gardens.

We had a pleasant surprise development that took place at FCA Camp.

Lake Worth performed relatively well on both sides of the ball in the three days of action. A set of fraternal twins led the way for the Trojans.

Watch for yourself.

Lake Worth twins Nashaughn Braynen (2024 defensive end/linebacker/running back) and Vaughn Braynen (2024 running back) shared their experiences at FCA Camp.

We will not forget about John I. Leonard.

The final play of this year’s FCA Camp experience in Day 3 was highlighted by the Lancers.

After all the games were completed on Day 3, FCA officials spoke to the four teams about a series of life lessons and more.

FCA representative and Palm Beach County coaching legend Tim Tharp reflected on the three-day camp experience and spoke about what we can expect for the 2023 fall regular season.

PLEASE NOTE: We will be aiming to highlight more players from these four teams and other from this point forward. We will need the coaches to help us and all of our local media outlets to show love to our high school football players in Palm Beach County.
