CORAL GABLES – Miami is on the move up again.

After a three-game winning streak that was highlighted by yesterday’s 31-17 win over FIU and losses by several current and now-former Top 25 teams, the Associated Press has moved Miami up this week to No. 16. It’s a five-spot jump that clearly has the Hurricanes moving in the right direction.

Miami (3-1) is in the AP Top 25 for the 22nd consecutive week. The ACC program will try to make it 23 weeks in a row as a Top 25 team when it plays at home against North Carolina this Thursday night (Sept. 27; 8:00 p.m. kickoff) at Hard Rock Stadium.

NOTE: Miami is this week’s No. 16 team in the Awmay Coaches Poll, a four-spot jump up from No. 20.
