Chapel Hill, NC.- One of the nation’s top defensive prospects just returned from his ‘most highly anticipated’ Official Visit, and was immediately ready to share his thoughts on the weekend.

Cardinal Newman‘s 4-Star Linebacker Adam Balogoun-Ali just finished his OV to North Carolina, and had nothing but love for his time in ‘Chapel Bill’.

“I had a fun weekend at UNC. I really enjoyed spending time with the players and hearing about how their transition with Coach Belichick has been.” Balogoun-Ali shared. “Sitting down and talking to Coach Belichick is always going to be surreal. Every time he speaks, it’s like you learn something and grow as a player.”

Adam Balogoun-Ali, a 6 foot 2 linebacker from West Palm Beach, Florida is one of the most highly sought after recruits in the state. Balogoun-Ali currently holds over 35 Division I FBS Offers from top programs across the country. Recently- Adam narrowed down his recruiting process to a final eight schools including; Miami, Penn State. Oklahoma, Auburn, Missouri, Florida State, Kentucky and North Carolina.

As for North Carolina, the Tar Heels continue to ‘stand out’ throughout Adam’s competitive recruiting process. What sets the ‘Heels apart? The opportunity to be developed by one of the best coaching staffs in the country.

“Coach Belichick is the most decorated coach in football history- that’s no debate. But it’s not just him.” Adam shared “His whole staff has experience at the highest levels of this game and been successful. The staff has 250 years of coaching experience so the whole program screams major development.”

Adam took a little more time to share his thoughts on the possibility of playing for Coach Bill Belichick:

“It’s a crazy feeling. It definitely gives you a sense of confidence because the GOAT of coaching believes in your skill-set and potential.”

What’s next for Adam’s recruitment? Well the 4-Star has previously taken an OV to Auburn (May 15-17), and has scheduled visits with Mizzou and Kentucky. Adam also hinted at a commitment date coming sometime before his senior season starts in August.

Finally before I close out this piece- I had specific instructions from Adam to include this picture somewhere, so here’s we go!
