Breaking News: Cardinal Newman Running Back Phoenix Donghia has committed to James Madison, he tells the NewEraPrep Staff.
Phoenix chose the Dukes over North Carolina (UNC), Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina and Western Kentucky. When asked about what set JMU apart from his other suitors- Donghia shared:
“Honestly, I knew JMU was home for a few weeks. Really since my home visit, being on campus for the OV last weekend set it in stone.” Phoenix eagerly stated. “The coaches and staff value relationships and they have a plan for me, The offense allows the RBs to do a lot schematically both in the run game and pass game. I believe they want to run the rock with power and create explosives with their RBs. I think that mindset fits my play style.”
Dukes fans, what should the first impression you get from Phoenix Donghia be? Well, Donghia is going to pound the rock. Phoenix is widely regarded and feared as one of the most dominant rushers in all of South Florida. Once those stocky legs start churning, one man simply can NOT bring Phoenix down.
