Happy Saturday Dolphins fans!

We are 24 hours away from seeing the Miami Dolphins play in 2025 for the first time and there are a lot of players that could make the roster. Throughout camp there have been players who have stood out like Malik Washington, Chop Robinson, Patrick Paul, and Storm Duck to name a few. However, there are some names that fans are not familiar with, and certain players will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and skill set tomorrow to possibly earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

Here is a list of players fans should be keeping a close eye on tomorrow and throughout the rest of preseason gameplay:

Starting in the trenches, is Jonah Savaiinaea (#72). The rookie guard is expected to contribute early as he is expected to start. Savaiinaea has had a strong camp and tomorrow fans will have the chance to see his dominance!

Staying on the offensive line is Jackson Carman (#76). Carman is a former second-round pick in 2021 and listed as a third string guard. Carman signed with the Dolphins practice squad last fall and resigned with the team in May this year. Depth has been an issue with the Dolphins specifically in the trenches and this is a great opportunity for Carman to become a reliable lineman.

Next is tackle Ryan Hayes (#77). Hayes was drafted in the seventh round in 2023, and we have not seen much of him on the field. Only appearing in one game in the regular season, Hayes has potential and if he produces well during preseason, it would be great for the offensive line to have more stability.

Staying on offense, Tahj Washington (#7), Erik Ezukanma (#84), Tarik Black (#86), Theo Wease Jr (#81), and Andrew Armstrong are underrated receivers that are fighting for a spot on the roster. With already a very talented receiver room, these five will need to put on good tape during games to have a good chance to make the cut. Washington, Armstrong, and Wease Jr produced a lot at their respective colleges. They will be looking to produce and impress coaches. Tarik Black is on his fifth team since entering the league in 2021, but with his experience that can give him leverage on the field. Ezukanma has been with the Dolphins since 2022 and had a spectacular preseason in his rookie season. Since then, he has had injury issues but him being healthy now, he has the potential and skills to make the final 53.

Grayson Murphy’s (#42), name has been brought up a lot throughout camp. The second-year pass rusher will get a good number of snaps to stop the run and get to the passer.

Finally in the secondary, fans should look for Ethan Bonner (#27), rookie Jason Marshall Jr (#33), John Saunders Jr (#35), Patrick McMorris (#32), and Isaiah Johnson (#37) are players that will get opportunities to play and showcase their skills. The secondary has been a question mark throughout camp and depth is needed.

Tomorrow is a big day for the players listed above, I cannot wait to see how well they will do to impress coaches and to impress fans! After tomorrow, the Dolphins will have a good idea of who belongs.
