BOCA RATON, FLA. – The Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs came out firing on all cylinders Friday night, cruising to a 35–13 victory over the Boca Raton Bobcats in a commanding road performance that showcased their offensive balance and defensive poise.

Quarterback Jayden Torres opened the scoring midway through the first quarter with a keeper up the middle, setting the tone for what would be a long night for Boca’s defense. Running back Donte Findeson followed up just minutes later, bursting through the line for his first touchdown of the evening to give Gibbons an early 14–0 advantage.

Boca Raton responded late in the first quarter when Mason Chapman punched it in on a goal-line “tush push,” trimming the deficit to 14–7. The Bobcats’ defense then made a crucial stop early in the second quarter, forcing Gibbons to attempt a field goal that sailed wide, keeping the game within one score.

But just before halftime, Torres connected with Javian Norwood on a tightrope sideline grab to extend the Chiefs’ lead to 21–7 heading into the break.

The second half belonged entirely to Gibbons. Findeson opened the third quarter with a dazzling breakaway run — his second touchdown of the game — before Torres struck again, this time hitting Hadley Jr. deep downfield for a long touchdown that pushed the margin to 35–7.

Boca Raton found the end zone one final time early in the fourth quarter on a long touchdown run by Adon Elmon, but the Chiefs’ defense closed things out from there, sealing a 35–13 final.

With the win, Cardinal Gibbons continues to look like one of South Florida’s most complete squads, executing with precision on both sides of the ball. Boca Raton, meanwhile, showed flashes of resilience but couldn’t slow the Chiefs’ relentless offensive rhythm.
