One of the best players in the Palm Beach area is down to his final three schools, and a date for his commitment has been offically set.
Standout ATH Turmarian Moreland Jr., who attends Palm Beach Lakes, has Georgia, Auburn, and Virginia Tech as his remaining finalists. His commitment will be announced on July 4th. Moreland, according to his Twitter/X page, has official visits scheduled to Virginia Tech from May 29-31 and to Auburn on June 5-7. Moreland Jr. unofficially visited Georgia this spring, and according to his 24/7 Player Profile, has his official visit to Athens set for June 12th.

In his spring game, Moreland Jr. played exclusively on defense, battling against uber-talented wideout Ryan Ferdinand on multiple occasions. Linining up all over the field, the standout athlete provided great coverage, some big hits, and upper-tier versatility that is very transferable to the college level. This skillset translated well to stats pretty consistently for Moreland Jr. over the 2025 season. In nine games played, Moreland Jr. had 45 total tackles, 32 of which were of the solo variety. He had two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and seven passes defended.
However, Moreland Jr. is really good on offense, too. While not having a ton of yards in 2025, the Palm Beach Lakes standout had 556 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore in the 2024 season. It is not hard to see how Moreland Jr.’s skill set would translate to the offensive end; he possesses the high-end athleticism and speed to make big-time plays all over the field
Fun battle here! Ryan Ferdinand ran a great route on the play, but Turmarian Moreland Jr. had great recovery speed to force the PBU. Two of the best in the area showing off their skill sets⬇️ pic.twitter.com/seGOjPIVby

Whether he commits to Auburn, Georgia, or Virginia Tech, Moreland Jr. will be in a great spot for the next step of his college career. Not only does he have the physical ability to make a big impact, but he also has the mental makeup to grow into a leader, as he has done at Palm Beach Lakes.
2026 is shaping up to be a big year for Moreland Jr., and once July 4th hits, one team will be getting a very impressive and talented player.
