MIAMI GARDENS, FL – The lights of Hard Rock Stadium will shine brightly this Saturday, November 15, 2025, as the #15 ranked Miami Hurricanes welcome the NC State Wolfpack for a critical late-season ACC battle. With conference championship implications on the line and bowl placement, this matchup is far more than just another game on the schedule. The Hurricanes will also honor their seniors for their last home game of the season and hope to send off their fans with a home win.
For Head Coach Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes, the 2025 campaign has been about validating the program’s upward trajectory. Sitting at 7-2 (3-2 ACC), they have re-established themselves as a consistent force in the Coastal division. Their opponents, the NC State Wolfpack (5-4, 2-3 ACC), under the steady guidance of Dave Doeren, arrive in South Florida coming off a big win against Georgia Tech and looking to play spoiler with a win against a ranked foe.
After Miami’s win last week and some helpful losses from Virginia and Louisville. The Canes have now been projected a spot in the latest College Football Playoff predictions. The Canes look to continue building their case this Saturday Vs a tough NC State team that has beaten the likes of Georgia Tech and Virginia who have been in conversations as the ACC top dogs.

N.C. State quarterback CJ Bailey is a familiar face to local fans. The South Florida native led Chaminade-Madonna to three straight state championships, helping run an offense that included Ohio State star wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and Miami wide receiver Jojo Trader. Bailey has 2,411 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, and has shown promise in his Sophomore season. Bailey has also thrown five touchdowns with no interceptions in his last two games. The Miami defense look to cool off Baileys hot streak with pressure from their stout D Line .
Miami’s secondary will be without Jim Thorpe award semi finalist Keionte Scott who suffered a lower extremity injury vs Syracuse and has arguably been the Hurricanes most consistent defender this season. RB Mark Fletcher Jr. and CB O.J. Frederique will also miss this week’s game for the Canes. Starting DT David Blay Jr. is listed as questionable for this week’s game. On the positive side, Starting WR C.J. Daniels and DT Ahmad Moten Sr. are not listed on the injury report, and should both return to action this week.
Miami star cornerback Keionte Scott is set to miss the No. 15 Hurricanes’ game against NC State on Saturday due to a lower extremity injury he suffered last week vs. Syracuse, sources tell @CBSSports.

Offensively the Miami Hurricanes look to start fast. They have an opportunity to get back on track this week. N.C. State’s defense is one of the worst in College Football, ranking 111th in the nation and third-worst in the ACC in scoring defense. The Wolfpack are also 122nd in yards allowed per game. Miami faced a similarly bad defense last week, and it took a while for the offense to get moving. If the Hurricanes get off to a good start, they could put the game away early.
The series between Miami and NC State has produced everything from a scoreless tie to high-octane shootouts that rewrite the record books. Miami leads the all-time matchup 11-6-1, with the first meeting on Dec. 1, 1939, a 27-7 Hurricanes win in Coral Gables, and the most recent a 20-6 Wolfpack victory in Raleigh on Nov. 4, 2023.
The Miami Hurricanes face the North Carolina State Wolfpack at Hard Rock Stadium at 3:30pm this Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
