Miami-Dade County, FL – Adidas is reportedly rolling out a new deal with Dade County Schools worth $13.5 million.
This deal is headlined by the Adidas “Super 7”
Miami Central, Northwestern, Carol City, South Dade, Norland, Booker T., and Homestead will be decked out in fully custom Adidas uniform sets, none like any other in the country. It was also reported that these schools will receive uniforms for all other sports, something we haven’t seen much of around the country in high school.
All Dade County schools outside of the Super 7 will receive funding from Adidas for new uniforms and other needs. In addition to this, each school will have a virtual team with uniforms and other apparel for sale.
What are the numbers for this? Well, 20% of profits will go to Dade County/the respective school, and the other 80% will go to Adidas. This ensures additional funding for each program and public school.
A few images of gear for sale for each Super 7 team have surfaced on the Dicks’ website, with shirts priced at $40 and hats at $37.

All in all, this seems like a good deal on both parties, as the schools receive one-of-one uniforms, funding, and recognition, and Adidas receives branding rights to some of the top athletic programs in the state and country. In addition, both parties have a new outlet to gain income with the digital team stores,
Will we see more county or even state-wide apparel deals in high school soon?
