Aggies to the NFL: Texas A&M receives the most invites to the combine

The Texas A&M Aggies once again cement themselves as the premier pro factory after 13 players received invites to the 2026 NFL Combine.

The Aggies are ready to make their presence known on the worlds biggest job interview leading up to the NFL Draft. Taking place February 23rd through March 1st in Indianapolis, Indiana. For many it’s viewed as a normal combine invite, for Texas A&M- it’s another step in the right direction, led by 3rd year head coach Mike Elko, the Aggies continue to grow as a team and show consistent development at the next level.

For these players, it’s an opportunity to showcase their elite strength, skills and talent on the field, along with evaluation and media, that’ll help give them momentum coming into the 2026 NFL draft.

This year, Texas A&M’s breath taking prospect comes from stand out wide receiver KC Conception, who finished his career with 2,200+ receiving yards and 25 touchdowns. Conception started his collegiate career at NC State before transferring to College Station for his Junior campaign. KC is known for getting of the line of scrimmage with extreme speed, combined with his extreme elusiveness and burst into space, he certainly makes man to man coverage difficult for defenders, he has been projected to be drafted in the first round of this year’s NFL draft.

Conception is not the only offense weapon coming into the combine representing the Aggies, as Star running back Le’Veon Moss was a big part of the Texas A&M’s recent success. Despite suffering some injuries during his career, he finished with 1,700+ rushing yards and 22 touchdowns. Two out of the Aggies’ five starting offensive linemen have also received invitations to this years combine, Trey Zuhn and Dametrious Crownover.

Eight of the thirteen invitees line up on the defensive side of the ball. Defensive lineman Cashius Howell began his career at Boston College, ultimately deciding to transfer to play for the Aggies his junior year, as he broke out as a star player, being a key weapon for the TAMU defense. He ended his career with 126 total tackles and 27 sacks recorded, Howell is most noticeable for his immediate burst off the line of scrimmage adding pressure to the opposing quarterback almost immediately, securing his first round grade.

The duo linebacker Taurean York and Scooby Williams have also earned their spot to showcase their talents this year. York recorded 200+ total tackles, and let the team with the most tackles recording 72 total tackles this past season. Taurean York is also very known for his on the field IQ and practically living in the film room, watching him play almost feels like he knows where the ball will be going before it even gets there.

Williams began his career playing in Florida playing for the Gators for 3 seasons, before ultimately deciding to transfer over to play for the Aggies his junior year. Despite dealing with injuries throughout his two years with the Aggies, he managed to end his career recording 131 total tackles.

Another noticeable player to be mentioned is Will Lee III. He began his career at Kansas State, playing for the wildcats for one season before transferring to college station. Lee ended his career recording 134 total tackles, 111 of those being solo tackles.

The Combine represents opportunity for the each invited player not only at a shot in the NFL, but a lifelong dream for each prospect. From a winning season, to leading the nation in NFL Combine invites, this proves that the Aggies from College Station are truly headed in the right direction.
