On Friday night the National Championship contenders became sealed, the Miami Hurricanes and the Indiana Hoosiers will face off at “The Rock” on Monday January 19.
After a dominating performance by Indiana starting from right off the clock with a pick six and touchdown score within the first 11 seconds of the game.
From there, Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza and co. began putting in the work to show not only a mobile quarterback but a deep run route as well.
With a bi-week ahead the Hoosier will head back to Bloomington to regroup and get ready for a physically demanding defense as well as a pass heavy Miami offense.
For the Hurricanes, already back in the 305 trying to figure out what went wrong on Thursday night as much of the game went by with the kind of mistakes that don’t just happen in collegiate semifinal football.
As thousands of people will begin descending upon Miami late next week this matchup will be a showcase of quarterback mobility, strong defenses and teams that are well coached.
Indiana enters the championship final undefeated with a head turning score of 56-22, and in the press compared to the 2019 LSU National Championship team. While Miami on the other hand enters the final matchup 13-2, with a chip on the Hurricanes shoulder to bring a championship back for the first time in 25 years.
Monday January 19, the world will be tuned in to see the battle of the offenses as the trophy is just within grasps it will come down to the simple clean playing.
