Throughout the regular season, the #1 Atlantic Eagles have commanded one of Palm Beach County’s top offenses. During tonight’s 55-21 beatdown on Deerfield Beach in the 5A District 14 Title game, the Eagles’ offense was on full display.
Headlining the high flying Atlantic offense was sophomore QB Pedro Martinez. Martinez let the arm loose tonight- launching a defense shattering five passing touchdowns. Pedro was electric tonight, connecting with 3-Star WR Mark Hanniford for three touchdowns, and WR James Jones for the other two.

Following his spectacular performance, Pedro reflected on the night and had this to say:
“We showed everyone we could pass the ball. Everything was clicking, they couldn’t stop anything we did tonight. All the preparation that we put in every week and it showed tonight.”
Atlantic’s two star receivers followed up on QB1’s comments with the following statements:
“We did what we had to do” shared Hanniford. “Unfortunately for any defense we play, they don’t know who to guard. We have so much talent on this offense, it forces them to pick a side.”
“A night like this means a lot to me.” Jones shared with his signature smile. “Our offense can do a lot, we have so many talented players lined up everywhere. We like to throw, we like to run, I just have to do my job.”

Atlantic would also come away with points after DB Tyrelle Owens came away with a fumble recovery for a touchdown after a wild snap, EDGE/TE Jamir Johnson pounded in a 5 yard rushing score and Tyrelle Gammage hit Justin Barrera for a 19 yard passing TD.
The Eagles now soar to 8-0 on the season as one of the three remaining unbeaten squads from the 561. Atlantic’s next test is another home stand, as the Green and White boys prepare to defend Delray Beach vs Eau Gallie.
