One of Palm Beach’s most dynamic playmakers has found his college home, and he is staying in the state of Florida.

Atlantic’s Omari St.Fort, a standout running back for the Eagles, committed to the University of Central Florida this weekend. St.Fort chose the Knights over UConn and East Carolina, both schools that the standout running back took an official visit to. Additionally, St. Fort held offers from USF, UCLA, Memphis, and more.

In an article from On3’s UCF Sports, St. Fort cited UCF’s culture as a main reason why he chose the Knights.

“It’s a family. I feel like on the field and off the field, they got me. That’s big, and that’s what I’m big on. Just with it being a family and being able to develop, I feel like they could help me develop and help me be a great player on and off the field.”

Additionally, St. Fort spoke about what UCF sees as his best skill on the field. “My best strength, from what I heard from the coaches, is having a really fast change of direction and being able to do it at full speed.”

New Era Prep’s own Christian Proscia, when asked about St. Fort, had glowing praise for the running back and sees high upside for him with the Knights.

“Omari is an absolute home run caliber back. Despite his offense being a very pass-heavy system last season, I’ve seen Omari take over a handful of games. He’s got a very good frame that’ll translate to the next level. Omari’s explosive; he’s a strong runner, but most importantly, he’s versatile. I can see him being a very reliable quick game target at the collegiate level.

Omari’s biggest strength is his natural burst. A lengthy track background has paid dividends into his successes, with him running a sub 10.7 100m. If you give him a hole, Omari St Fort is going to fly through it and will be dancing in the endzone shortly after.

All in all, this was a grand slam addition for Frost and co. I think he will make an impact early and get the Bounce House rocking.”

Having had the chance to watch St. Fort at Atlantic, I would echo the sentiments of UCF’s staff and Proscia. St. Fort’s change of direction is truly impressive, as he can cut on a dime and leave defenders in the dust. That is only one part of his game, though, as St. Fort also possesses upper-level speed. Once hitting the open field, it takes a truly special athlete to catch the running back. St. Fort consistently creates massive plays, and that bore out in his 2025 season; on 112 carries, the running back had 1147 yards and 11 touchdowns. Additionally, St. Fort has impressive contact balance and can contribute as a pass catcher when called upon, as he notched 108 yards and a touchdown through the air last year.

Regardless of where he landed, St. Fort was going to have the ability and potential to make a considerable impact on the offensive side of the ball. Now committed to UCF, the Atlantic standout will have a chance to do the same thing for the Knights once he arrives on campus.
