Columbia, Missouri- The Austin Simmons show has officially begun with the Missouri Tigers.
During tonight’s blow out against Arkansas Pine Bluff, the left arm of Simmons was the main engine that had the Tigers on the prowl. The Southpaw passer from Pahokee, Florida was automatic in a quarter and a half of play, going 17/19 for 280 yards and 4 touchdowns and 282.7 QBR.

As Missouri’s offense flew, WR Donovan Olugbode was the one in the cockpit. The sophomore wideout from IMGAcademy exploded onto the scene, going for 8 catches, 144 yards and 2 touchdowns. Simmons also reignited his connection with former Ole Miss teammate Cayden Lee, who he found for 4 grabs, 80 yards and a long touchdown score.

After a rocky sequence of events during last season at Ole Miss, it’s nice to see Austin Simmons has embraced his new opportunity in stride, and has all the confidence in the world coming out of this masterclass.
