Balanced effort: Benjamin tops Glades Central, 48-6

BELLE GLADE – Benjamin was on a mission in the Muck last night (Sept. 28).

The second-ranked Buccaneers lined up against the Glades Central Raiders and earned a rather easy 48-6 road win in the process.

The game’s first three touchdowns were scored by Benjamin sophomores. Watch the clips below to see how it all happened.

The first quarter ended with a 20-0 lead for Benjamin (5-0).

The second quarter was even better for the road team, as it would reach its conclusion with a 41-0 lead and a running clock for the rest of this one.



The second half went by pretty quickly, as only two more scores happened with one by each team.

Glades Central (0-5) is still winless on the season. But there is hope that a second-half turnaround is on the way.
Benjamin sophomore Adam Balogoun-Ali scored a touchdown in the first quarter and reached the end zone on a two-point conversion in the second quarter against Glades Central.
Both of Benjamin’s No. 1-ranked players scored against Glades Central.
