WEST BOCA RATON – We have officially reached past the FHSAA state regional quarterfinal round.
And with that, we have all of the results from both Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
Our very own Isaac Edelman was there for one of the area’s playoff regional quarterfinal games.
CLASS 6A – REGION 4: No. 2 seed West Boca Raton (17-8) faced off against No. 7 seed Southwest (16-10 final record) last night (May 10).
Result: The West Boca Bulls are still alive.
Led by FAU commit James Litman, who pitched his second straight complete game, the Bulls beat Southwest Miami 6-2.
Down 2-0, West Boca had a crucial four-run fourth inning, which included a triple from Tyler Cordero.
It also included a big play that you can see right below.
The Bulls will now have a rematch with Dwyer in the regional semifinals. They beat the Panthers last week for the district championship.
“We got Dwyer again, part two,” West Boca Raton first baseman Matthew Pagan (2024) said. “We got to bring it, all we got, and it’s going to be a great game.”
