BIGXII Bowling as Colorado faces BYU in 2024 Alamo Bowl

San Antonio- TX.- The Colorado Buffaloes and the BYU Cougars will meet on December 28, 2024, in the 32nd Valero Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. This much-anticipated matchup showcases two of the top squads from the BIGXII Conference, both aiming to end their seasons on a high note.

BYU, enjoying a successful season with a 10-2 record, has been a defensive powerhouse, allowing just 20.1 points per game while averaging 30.8 points on offense. This marks their first appearance in the Alamo Bowl, highlighting their continued rise since joining the Big 12.

Colorado, led by head coach Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders, has also had an amazing season, finishing 9-3. This is the Buffaloes’ third appearance at the Alamo Bowl, though they’ll be seeking their first win after previous losses to Oklahoma State in 2016 and Texas in 2020. Buff’s standout leaders, QB Shedeur Sanders and 2024 Heisman Trophy Winner WR/DB Travis Hunter are expected to shine under the national spotlight, as the game will be broadcast on ABC at 6:30 P.M.
