WEST PALM BEACH – We got yet another easy win at home last night (Nov. 4) from the Keiser Seahawks on their Senior Night.

In their 59-17 victory over the Webber International Warriors, the nation’s sixth-ranked team in NAIA scored 45 straight points from the first quarter until the latter part of the third quarter.

As is usually the case, the majority of Keiser’s yardage came from the ground. The home team gained 234 rushing touchdowns and six touchdowns, much of which came from the running back duo of Andrew Burnette (13 carries, 97 yards, two touchdowns) and Jaden Meizinger (12 carries, 62 yards, one touchdown).

Let us take a look and see how Keiser (7-2; 6-0 SUN Conference) got it done once again with its running game. We will show you three of Keiser’s six rushing scores from this one.

Quarterback Bryce Veasley was super efficient as he completed 14 of 20 passes (70 percent completion rate) for 144 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. He added three carries for 23 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

The Keiser defense as a whole allowed only 179 total yards to Webber’s offense. They were led by the likes of linebacker Hunter Hargrave (team-high eight tackles), defensive lineman Branden Masse (five tackles, two tackles for loss, and two sacks), and defensive lineman Jertavis Black (four tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, and one pass breakup).

With the win, Keiser is one game away from completing an undefeated record in Sun Conference play. That opportunity will come on Saturday, Nov. 11 (1 p.m. kickoff time) at Florida Memorial (6-3; 5-1 SUN Conference) in Miami.
