BOCA RATON – The Blazers put on a show in 43-0 victory over Berean Christian.

Boca Christian finished last season at (6-3) and they got off to a great start against the Bulldogs Thursday, maybe looking to duplicate their success.

This is the second year in a row the Blazers have defeated Berean.

It was an all around team win as everyone got in the action Thursday night.

Offensive Breakdown and stars of the night for Blazers:

Sophomore quarterback Joey Weber lead the offensive charge going 11/14 for 252 yards passing, and five touchdowns.

Senior Nathan Walter had three catches for 35 yards and one touchdown.

Senior Sean surace had one catch for 30 yards and a touchdown.

Bocas balance of running and throwing seems to be the formula the Blazers will use moving forward.

“In the off-season, the guys bought into the off-season workouts doing one on ones making sure we’re out there.” Coach AJ Puente said. “I’m very very proud of the guys.”

Boca Christian plans to build on this momentum and taking it game by game.

Berean Christian will host a tough Palm Beach Christian Prep squad Friday, Aug 23rd at 5pm.

Boca Christian will be on the road at Glades Day Friday, Aug 23rd with a start time of 7pm.
