The Boca Raton Bobcats came away with a statement victory Thursday night, defeating the Olympic Heights Lions 40–25 in a high-scoring Week 3 matchup.

Olympic Heights entered the game undefeated at 2–0, coming off a dominant 50–0 victory over Tradition Prep. Boca Raton, meanwhile, was looking to build more momentum after win last week against Boynton Beach going into the game 1–1.

The Bobcats controlled the game as the night went on, taking a 40–17 lead into the fourth quarter. Olympic Heights continued to battle and managed to cut into the deficit late, scoring to bring the final margin to 15 points, but Boca Raton had already built too large of a lead to overcome. 

The loss marked Olympic Heights’ first of the season, dropping the Lions to 2–1. For Boca Raton, the victory moved the Bobcats to 2–1 and snapped a three-game home losing streak.

Despite the result, Olympic Heights showed fight throughout the second half, refusing to go quietly after falling behind. The Lions will look to bounce back in their next matchup against St. John Paul II Academy, while Boca Raton will travel to face Jupiter.
