During his breakout junior season at Atlantic Johnson- a 6 foot defensive lineman- solidified himself amongst South Florida’s best. Last season, Jamir Johnson was quite frankly uncontrollable- recording the following stats: 68 Total Tackle, 14 Sacks, 2 Forced Fumble, 23 QB Hurries, 1 TD.

Fast, Physical, Relentless, Powerful, Un-Blockable. These are all accurate words to describe Jamir Johnson on the football field. As the stats indicate, Johnson has an uncanny ability to just always appear in the backfield. Whether it’s pounding a running back or disrupting a pass play, it feels like Jamir Johnson lives to cause opposing offenses chaos.
Jamir will be taking his talents to the 2x defending FHSAA 6A State Champion West Boca Bulls- who have had a pretty good track record of pumping out elite defensive linemen. This graduating cycle alone, West Boca is producing 4 NCAA trench babies- Xavier Reid (3-Star DT, Liberty), Demetrius Geathers (3-Star EDGE, USF), Grant Edmond (EDGE, Wagner) and Chris Medina (DT, Bethune Cookman). The Bulls are far from done, as Jamir Johnson will be lining up beside 4-Star DT Jamar Thompson and 3-Star EDGE Juvy Herrington next season.
