PALM BEACH GARDENS: Breaking News: 4-Star DE/TE Amaree Williams announces his intentions to reclassify to the class of 2024!

Williams posted the news alongside 24/7 Sports via his Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Before his reclassification, Williams was rated as the #1 ATH in the nation for the class of 2025. The 6 foot 5 prospect has now been rated as: #15 DE (National), #22 recruit in Florida and #166 recruit nationally (Per ON3).

Amaree Williams is a fast and physical player that you simply cannot gameplay against. Outside of natural size and speed, Williams possesses a lightning fast first step that sets opposing linemen on their heels. Amaree is known for applying pressure early in games, letting his opponents know they’re in for a long night of torture.

Off the field, Amaree is a person of the highest character, always showing the utmost respect to all. He is a natural leader, and will be a great addition to any program in more ways than football.

During his junior season, Amaree showed why he was among the nation’s best, recording: 35 Tackles, 8 TFL’s, 4 Sacks, 2 Fumble Recoveries, 1 Interception (returned for TD) on defense, while also recording 425 Receiving Yards and 7 Receiving Touchdowns on offense.

Williams currently possesses 34 Division I offers, and recently announced his top schools: Georgia, Miami (FL), Alabama, Texas, Oregon, South California, Kentucky, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, FSU, Penn St., and South Carolina.

While he did reclass and announce his top schools, Amaree also let the world know he is not planning on announcing his commitment until February, 2024. For now, the star studded athlete’s recruitment process is wide open, but time is winding down.

Congratulations Amaree on this huge decision! While his time under the Friday Night Lights may be over, Amaree’s story is just beginning. We all patiently await to see what program is going to improve with the addition of the great Amaree Williams.
