BREAKING NEWS:
4-star ATH Ricky Knight III (24′) has announced his transfer from The Benjamin School to Cardinal Newman. Knight made his decision public via his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
For my senior year of high school I will be transferring and continuing my academic and athletic career at Cardinal Newman Highschool @JackDan55847282 @EraPrep @Andrew_Ivins @ChadSimmons_ @SWiltfong247 @RyanWrightRNG @CraigHaubert @adamgorney @emilee_smarr @ABLichtenstein pic.twitter.com/sAsGTi1YBK

Knight is a 6’1, 170 lbs ATH With 20+ offers including schools like the University of Miami, Florida State, and Penn State, he has gained a lot of eyes on him.
Knight had this to say about his transfer “My family and I felt as though this was the best decision for me. Coach Jack is definitely somebody we trust and believe in.”
“I’m truly thankful for my time at Benjamin. Coach K has been nothing but supportive of me and my family through my time there.” Knight said “I’m thankful for all of my teammates, I wish them nothing but the best, and I’m looking forward to playing them this season”
Newman went 11-1 last year, losing to Chaminade-Madonna in the playoffs. Losing big seniors last year like Chris Presto, Cole Dillon and Vinkevus Pierre, Newman needed big new players. With the addition of Knight, and already with a big roster of 3 and 4 stars, maybe they will be able to conquer the Lions this year.
With an exciting off-season for Knight, taking official visits to Illinois and Florida State, he has a lot more to look forward to this season. He also gets to play alongside of his cousin, another big recruit, Kevin Levy.
