Broadnax, a 6 foot 2 Corner is top 250 recruit in the 2026 class, also ranking as the #17 Defensive Back and #33 prospect in the state of Florida. Jaydin chose the Cardinals over 40 other schools, including Florida State, Auburn, Michigan, USF, Florida and Syracuse.
When asked about what set Louisville apart from the other suitors, Jaydin eagerly said:
“Before I answer I wanna say thank you to the Man above, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without Him none of this is possible. Thanks to my mom, Coach Potts, Coach Jason Reid, West Boca football as a whole, my family and friends.” Broadnax shared. “Louisville stood out from everyone else because of how often we spoke. I spoke to at least one staff member everyday for over a year. That stood out to me because it showed I was a priority to them. They have a plan for me, bringing me in to be the guy from day one and I will hold myself accountable to that and act as such from day one on campus. Go Cards!”
Jaydin Broadnax is one of the most secure blue chip prospects in this 2026 class. In 2024, Broadnax was a cornerstone for West Boca’s suffocating defense, that led to the Bulls’ FHSAA 6A State Championship. Last season, J5 recorded 39 Tackles, 14 PBU, 1 INT and only 9 catches allowed on 30 targets.
Broadnax possesses a “pro ready” body, but that’s not all. Jaydin is a smooth runner, and has unmatched change-of-direction skills. Jaydin Broadnax’s strongest trait is his fluid and open hips, which allow him to move so smoothly across the field. All in all, Jaydin Broadnax possesses the size, speed and physicality needed to succeed in the ACC.

The addition of Jaydin Broadnax thrusts Louisville’s 2026 recruiting class inside the top 20 (Per the 24/7Sports composite). Broadnax is the highest graded recruit, and first defensive back commit in the class, but will join 3-Star LB Karsten Busch, 3-Star DL Sam Dawson and 3-Star EDGE Jon Adams in a loaded defensive recruiting class.
