Cedric “Lockdown” Rolle, the 5’10, 145 lbs. DB from Somerset Canyons just announced his transfer to Atlantic High School. Rolle made his decision public today via his Instagram and account. Rolle has been on a lot of coaches’ radars lately, with a D1 offer and many interests, he decided to make a big change.
When I asked Rolle about his transfer this is what he had to say:
“I chose Atlantic because I have better opportunities there. Clicking up with Tyrique Hollis and Jayden Parrish is something I’ve had in mind for a while. I am super excited to take on this new journey for my senior year.”
Rolle is sad that the “Big 3” will be splitting up, but he says “We are all taking new journeys in life, I can’t wait to see what Gray and Waden do, I’m proud of all of us”
He definitely still wants to show love to Canyons too, when asking him about the former team he says “I loved my time at Somerset, they showed nothing but love to me. I wish for the best to all my coaches and teammates.”
With the addition of Rolle, Atlantic is looking like they are the team to beat. With one of the hardest schedules in the county, only time will tell what they can do this season. In just 59 days we will see a big matchup vs Palm Beach Gardens.
He joins a team with big stars already. QB Lincoln Graf (26’), RB Karl Luccin (24’), FSU Commit LB Jayden Parrish (24’), CB Tyrique Hollis (24’), and much more talent on the team. There is a lot to anticipate from the new additions to the team.
A lot of expectations are on the line for Atlantic with uncertainness of what this team will do in this upcoming season. Their first game will kick off the preseason, against Palm Beach Central on 8/17.
