Despite being known as the new kid on the block, St. Andrews’ 3-Star WR Wesley Winn (’27) has already flown up rankings as one of the top pass catchers in his class.

After numerous elite performances to open the season, the junior wideout has garnered yet another accolade, as Wesley Winn has officially accepted his invitation to the 2026 Navy All-American Bowl. Winn was one of 100 honorees selected to this year’s East vs. West game, hosted at the San Antonio Alamodome. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Wesley Winn- a 5 foot 10 speedster from San Francisco brought his Cali ball talents to South Florida this season, and has certainly put our area on notice. In his debut game vs Boca High in the Scots’ Week 0 matchup- the Boston College commit Winn recorded 3 catches for 103 yards and 3 scores. Since then- Wesley Winn has thrown down 27 catches for a County leading 652 yards and 7 touchdowns to bring his mid season total to 30, 755 and 10.

The Army and Navy All-American Bowls are no stranger to both places Wesley Winn has been able to call home. We’ve seen elite talent grace the game over the past 26 years. Now, Winn gets to represent home from both coasts in San Antonio. When asked this means to him, Wesley had this to say:

I’m from California, but my dad is from Broward County.  I spent time here every school break since I was in elementary. My cousins would train me and I got to meet several former Navy All-Americans like Odell Beckham, worked out with Mike Harley Jr.  My hands are still ringing from catching balls from Tyrod Taylor and Jacoby Brissett this summer.” Winn reflected. “I got Mike’s gloves when I was in elementary school.  The fact that I can now fit in the gloves and I get to walk in his shoes as a Navy All-American, is surreal.  While visiting Florida for my Grandma’s passing, I ran a 4.5 laser at Rivals MIA in 8th grade, which jump started my recruiting. Grandma would be proud, and I can’t wait to represent the 561 in the historic Alamodome.

St Andrew’s HC Jimmy Robertson would follow up with his own comments about his talented route runner:

“Super excited for him! It’s such a privilege to coach him and build a relationship with him and his family. He’s a very special young man—on and off the field.” Coach Robertson shared. “It’s great he is getting the recognition he earned and deserves.”

In terms of the All-American Bowl coming to South Florida, Palm Beach has seen numerous representatives participate in the Army game, including Dwyer QB Jacoby Brissett and TE Nick O’Leary in 2011, and more recently Benjamin WR Micah Mays (’23) and RB Chauncey Bowens (’24) Wesley Winn becomes the first player in Palm Beach County history to represent the 561 in the Navy All-American game.

Congratulations to Wesley Winn and the St. Andrews Scots on this momentous achievement!
