Brown departs South Florida as one of the most productive dual-threat quarterbacks in FBS history:
- 7,690 passing yards
- 2,265 rushing yards
- 61 passing touchdowns
- 31 rushing touchdowns
- 12th player in FBS history to eclipse 3,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a season.
Brown played a central role in shaping South Florida’s offensive identity, particularly during the program’s transition under former head coach Alex Golesh.
Brown’s path is unlike any transfer in the portal. Brown stayed at USF for four years, sat out most of the 2024 season due to an injury and earned his degree before entering the portal with one year of eligibility left.
