Breaking News: West Boca Raton will host Miami Carol City in the upcoming 2026 Week 0 Kick Off Classic on August 14, multiple sources confirm to NewEraPrep.
This marks the second year the Bulls are bringing a mainstream opponent to Boca Raton, after hosting the national powerhouse Chaminade Madonna Lions to begin the 2025 campaign. West Boca is coming off two consecutive FHSAA 6A State Championships, and has now cemented themselves as the ‘New Blood’ of the FHSAA. After graduating a deep senior class including 4-Star RB Javian Mallory (Miami), 4-Star DB Jaydin Broadnax (Louisville) and 3-Star DT Xavier Reid (Liberty), the Bulls now prepare for the new leaders of the program. 2027 4-Star DT Jamar Thompson and 3-Star LB Damari Jerry will continue to anchor the stifling defense, while West Boca made some key off-season additions, including 3-Star WR Jayden St Fort, EDGE Jamir Johnson and 1,000 yard rusher Jacorrion McCrary.
In addition to the Carol City pre season game, West Boca has previously announced 4 high profile games, including:
Week 1 @ American Heritage Plantation
Week 4 vs. Cardinal Newman
Week 7 vs. Grayson (GA), Adidas Football Classic
Week 9 @ The First Academy (Orlando, FL.)

As for Carol City, it’s a new era for the Chiefs who look to return to former State glory. This off-season, the ‘Zuu’ hired former Chaminade Madonna Offensive Coordinator Toro Wallace to spearhead the rebirth of Carol City. The high school transfer portal never ceases to amaze, as just a few days later 2027 5-Star WR Nick Lennear would announce his intention to move for his senior year. In Lennear’s final game at Miami Northwestern in the FHSAA 3A title game, he would record 6 catches for 135 yards and 1 TD against Jacksonville Raines while adding 2 tackles and 1 INT on defense.

Lennear will be paired with one of South Florida’s most dynamic young QB prospects, as Coach Wallace reunites with his former Chaminade QB Malik Leonard. Leonard- the top passer in the 2029 class led the Lions to the FHSAA 1A State Championship after a 2,935 yard and 31 touchdown season.
This clash between one of Florida’s finest and most up and coming programs should provide an excellent test for both squads as they’d prepare for the 2026 Regular Season.
