PAHOKEE – All it took was one half for the Pahokee Blue Devils to run away from the Immokalee Indians in last week’s 46-0 home win.

For junior linebacker Jacorris Foreman, it was relatively easy work in Wheek 2. He recorded six tackles, one sack, and one interception in the Blue Devils 46-point win on Sept. 2 at Anquan Boldin Stadium.

Foreman’s interception occurred early in the second quarter for fifth-ranked Pahokee (2-0).

“It was great for me especially because I only played the first half,” the 5-foot-11, 190-pound linebacker said. “Most defense starters played only the first two quarters of the game.”

For his efforts, Foreman has been selected as our Breakthrough Player of Week 2.

“I’m excited and hungry for this season,”
Foreman said. “It’s more to come from me.”

Pahokee senior running back Micah Steele lauded Foreman’s play from last week.

“Chucky played very well,” Steele said. “He’s always around the ball.”

Steele had more to say about Foreman’s level of impact on the Pahokee Blue Devils organization.

“Chucky can do it all,” Steele said. “He can play every position on the field. I think he is a key player to our defense every week.”

As of right now, Foreman is considered to be one of the best linebackers and overall players in the Class of 2023. He earned his first offer from Syracuse on Jan. 26.

After two games played this season, Foreman has seven recorded tackles, one sack, and one interception. He is hoping for much more over the next several weeks ahead.

The next two games for Foreman and the Pahokee Blue Devils are at home against the Palm Beach Lakes Rams (0-2) on Friday, Sept. 10 (Week 3) and the fourth-ranked Palm Beach Gardens Gators (1-1) on Friday, Sept. 24 (Week 5). Both games at Anquan Boldin Stadium have a kickoff time set for 6:30 p.m.
