WELLINGTON, FL – After a comeback upset win over No. 1 Benjamin at home last week the newly ranked No. 1 Palm Beach Central Broncos looked to stay alive as the only undefeated team in Palm Beach County.
Central got off to a hot start, with Caleb Butler finding Miami commit Waden Charles downfield for a quick 7-0 start. However, Forest Hill took matters into their own hands with a quick response to keep the score tight, however with the missed PAT, Central kept a one point lead. Butler would put Central back in the drivers seat as he found Preston Parker Jr. for a touchdown, Parker was responsible for catching the game winner last week against Benjamin and kept his hot form tonight. Butler kept his great performance up as he found Sean Raymond for a 30 yard pass. Central would keep the 1st half momentum hot as Ze’Quan Wright bursted into the endzone to give Central a 28-6 lead. Forest Hill would finally respond with a big back corner reception to shrink Central’s lead 28-12. However, Central’s offense wouldn’t let the half end on a cold note. With 17 seconds left in the first half, Caleb Butler would find Preston Parker Jr. for his 2nd reception touchdown on the night. Central would go into halftime with a 35-12 lead.
