Moments ago, NFL insider Jordan Schultz revealed that former Seattle Seahawks Offensive Lineman, George Fant will be working out with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today.

Fant, a 6 foot 5 kick stepper is entering his tenth season in the NFL. George Fant signed as a UDFA from Western Kentucky in 2016 by the Seahawks, and played in Seattle until 2019. From 2020-22, Fant was a member of the New York Jets. In 2023, George joined the Houston Texans before returning to Seattle in 2024. George Fant would go onto be released by the Seahawks on March 4, 2025.

Since his release- Fant has stood as one of the top Free Agent Offensive Linemen, and would be an excellent addition to any squad. George Fant has started in 75 career games, and would provide much needed veteran experience to the Bucs’ trenches with Two-Time All-Pro Tristan Wirfs sidelined for the first four weeks of the season (PUP, knee).

More details to come as Training Camp nears.
