The Chaminade-Madonna Lions matched up against the Monarch Knights Friday night Oct 3, 2025 for an entertaining homecoming game.

As the matchup began, Chaminade’s ground game proved to be too much for the Monarch defense as Running Back Arwin Jackson punched in two touchdowns, setting the tone early.

Looking for a response, ATH Keshawn Pascall made a touchdown run of his own for the Knights, bringing the game to 14-7 in the first quarter.

In the start of quarter two, DB Daveon Black had an interception returned for a touchdown, further widening the gap to 21-7.

The exclamation point of the first half came courtesy of 5-star Texas commit Derek Cooper on a touchdown run.

By halftime, the score stood at a decisive 28-7 in favor of Chaminade-Madonna.

As the third quarter got underway, the momentum remained with the Lions, but the skies grew gloomy.

Rain began to fall, yet fans were determined to stay and watch the Lions close out the game.

With the threat of lightning looming, officials made the call to end the game, resulting in the Lions getting the win.

The Lions move up to 5-1, looking to keep the momentum as they play Blanche Ely next week while the Knights fall to 3-3.
