Athens, GA.- The Chauncey Bowens train has left the station.

During this afternoon’s Western Kentucky vs Georgia game, it was all Bulldogs early. Throughout the first quarter, Georgia’s offense has been rotating their elite trio of running backs each drive, with Palm Beach County native Chauncey Bowens earning some shine.

In his one drive this quarter, Bowens made the most of the opportunity, recording 1 carry for 4 yards, alongside 2 receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown. On his touchdown catch and run, Chauncey made a man miss and then churned his way to the goal line where he left over a Hilltopper defender before finding solace in the end zone.

During his high school career, Chauncey Bowens was one of the most feared tailbacks in Palm Beach County, recording over 3,000 career yards and 33 touchdowns with the Benjamin Buccaneers. Now at Georgia, Bowens is the RB2 behind Nate Frazier, but every time he lines up in the backfield, be ready for Chauncey Bowens to make a play.
