DELRAY BEACH, FLA. – Both teams coming off their bye-week each had their own goals coming into this week. Treasure Coast, still seeking their first win, and Atlantic looking to get back into the win column after losing in Orlando their last time out.

The Atlantic Eagles wasted no time getting on the scoreboard as their quarterback, Lincoln Graf, connected with wide receiver James Jones for an early touchdown. The extra point was good, and the Eagles took a quick 7-0 lead with 8:08 left in the first quarter.

Graf continued to lead the charge, this time scoring on a quarterback keeper to extend Atlantic’s lead to 14-0 by the end of the first quarter. Meanwhile, Treasure Coast responded with a extremely long and calculated 16-minute offensive drive, but could only come away with a field goal, bringing the score to 14-3.

Atlantic wasn’t done yet, as Graf found Jones again for their second touchdown connection of the night with just 29 seconds remaining in the second quarter. The extra point was good, and the Eagles went into halftime with a commanding 21-3 lead.

Atlantic’s defense continued to shine in the fourth quarter as Marlon Fyee intercepted a pass and returned it 50 yards for a pick-six. The extra point was good, pushing the lead to 40-9 with 7:47 left in the game.

As if that wasn’t enough, Tyrelle Owens sealed the victory with another pick-six, bringing the final score to 47-9 after the extra point. The running clock in the fourth quarter only emphasized Atlantic’s complete dominance on both sides of the ball.
