PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – What was slated to be a matchup of titan football programs in South Florida, turned out to be quite the opposite. Gulliver was shutout in tonights premiere matchup as Benjamin handled the Raiders with ease
Fireworks exploded on the first play of the game as Georgia commit Chauncey Bowens took it all the way to the endzone. It wouldn’t take long for the Buccaneer defense to join in on the fun as they would get a pick-six immediately after Gulliver took their first possession. Benjamin’s first quarter rampage would continue as Phoenix Donghia found the endzone to give the Buccaneers a quick 21-0 lead. Recent Wake Forest commit Jacob Cosby-Mosley would put on the best two play performance we could witness. Mosley would bring in the defense’s second pick-six of the night and immediately after force and return a fumble for a touchdown, bringing the score from 28-0 up to 35-0 in a matter of 30 seconds. With just under five minutes left in the first quarter QB Jayden Vega would find Chauncey Bowens for what would be Bowens’ second touchdown of the night.
Another Pick-Six from the Benjamin defense this time from Jacob Cosby-Mosley. Followed by a fumble recovery by Mosley on the next Gulliver Offensive drive! Both XP’s are good.

The scoreline for the end of the first quarter would read a mind-boggling 42-0. Starting off the second quarter, Benjamin would pick up right where they left off, finding Phoenix Donghia for his second rushing touchdown of the night giving Benjamin a 49-0 lead over Gulliver Prep.

While Benjamin had all the momentum heading out of halftime, the team would not see the endzone again. Gulliver Prep would have no success finding the endzone the entire second half as well. Giving us our final scoreline of 49-0. Benjamin continues the hot streak going 3-0, the Buccaneers will be on the road next week in Jenson Beach looking to continue their dominance. As for Gulliver Prep, the Raiders fall to 3-1, they will also be on the road facing off against a hot King’s Academy team, which will look to be an interesting Week 5 matchup.
