PALM BEACH GARDENS – Kamari Burns is a Dwyer High School graduate as of June 4.
And now, there is another thing that we can confirm on behalf of the linebacker/defensive back.
FAU will be the next destination for Burns, and he is proud of it.
Back in March, we highlighted Burns on his recruiting process and much more. He had 11 offers at the time, but none of those schools could match what FAU has to offer.
“I was just talking it over with the family and weighing my options of what we thought would be the best fit for me,” Burns said. “I’m talking to the [FAU head] coach [Willie Taggart], so hopefully I’m gonna be able to get a preferred walk-on offer.”
We will follow up to see how the situation ultimately works out for Burns. But at least he is officially done with high school.
“It wasnt exactly how I expected it to be, but I’m happy I still got to graduate,” Burns said. “That’s what truly matters.”
