Royal Palm Beach, FL–> It was a scorching afternoon in South Florida as two of Palm Beach County’s most prestigious programs squared off.

Tonight, the 2x SSAA Champion Jupiter Christian Eagles traveled down to Belvedere road to face The King’s Academy Lions. It was a clash of titans, as the offensive mind of JCS’ Baz Alfred met the defensive prowess of TKA’s Dan Burack in a head on 11v11 collision.

Scoring Summary

While it definitely took some time for both squads to get back to their brand of ball, the fireworks were ready to pop. King’s found the end zone first when left handed QB London van Rensburg connected with speedster WR Jack Miller for a designed 7 yard in. Following the catch, a flock of Eagles swarmed Miller, who kept himself level, slipping out of the pressure and breaking away for a 63 yard scamper. With under 2 minutes remaining in the half to respond, Jupiter Christian flew down field, where on the final play of the second quarter Princeton QB commit Dorian Fauntleroy connected with his multipurpose star Luke Beach for a tying score.

With 8 minutes remaining in the contest, JCS would take their first lead of the day, as Fauntleroy found Beach for another Eagle touchdown. TKA would have an opportunity of their own to drive in crunch time, as the south paw van Rensburg would lead the Lions down field before WR/DB Sean Victor found space in the back of the end zone on a scramble drill for the tying tuddy.

Stand Out Stars

Levi Champion- 2027 LB, TKA: There’s only one production that airs under the lights of Kahlert Stadium; the Levi Champion show. Champion solidified himself as Palm Beach County’s top talent, as the 6 foot linebacker recorded 12 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, 1 sack and 3 QB hurries. To put it lightly, Champion was spectacular out there today.

Duke Rimes- 2027 IDL, JCS: Today was all defense from both squads, as Jupiter Christian combated the generational night of Levi Champion with an elite performance from their star Duke Rimes. Rimes was partying in the backfield all afternoon, recording 8 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries. In a County that is blooming with elite defensive talent, it’s time to include the senior 3 tech in the highest of ranks.

Sean Victor- 2027 WR/DB, TKA: Sean Victor has quietly stepped into the role of an lockdown boundary corner. Victor played well in coverage, recording a pass breakup on a goal line fade that would’ve given Jupiter Christian a go ahead score. Offensively, Sean Victor recorded a handful of catches and earned the tying score.

Travis King- 2029 RB/DB, JCS: The young King was fitted for his crown during his freshman season, and in 2026 he’s looking for a throne. Travis King was shut down in coverage, while recording two explosive rushes and a handful of catches. In terms of young talent blossoming in Palm Beach County, look no further than Travis King.

Jack Miller- 2027 WR/DB, TKA: The speedy Jack Miller is just a few weeks removed from earning two medals at the FHSAA 2A Track State Championships. Outside of the wizardry that led to his 63 yard score, Miller would record 3 more catches, one of which put the Lions inside the 5 with under a minute remaining in the game, poising TKA for the tying touchdown.
