Lake Worth, FL.- Something was in the air ahead of last night’s Wellington High vs Garcia game.

The Wolverines traveled to the Dog Pound and dominated the trenches. Throughout the entirety of the night, Wellington’s front seven posed serious threats for the Garcia offense, constantly getting into the backfield and disrupting plays before they can formulate. Star senior Jayden Welsh recorded multiple pressures and TFL’s on the night.

Offensively, Wellington was led by an 85 yard and 1 touchdown performance from running back Tyree Pearson. Pearson dominated the run game, pounding the rock and chewing the clock.

While all of these performances were spectacular, the MVP of the night came from the two interception performance from defensive back John Crocker. Crocker, a 5 foot 10 DB, put on a highlight reel performance with this insane 1 handed interception.

Wellington High advances to 3-3 on the season, and will face off against the Jupiter Warriors on Thursday, October 10. Kickoff for this district matchup is slated for 6:30 P.M.
