Delvin Webb looks to make a name for himself

Hialeah, FL – Delvin Webb is making a name for himself in the JUCO ranks.

The Unadilla, Georgia native has been a force to be reckon with all season for the Georgia Military Bulldogs football team. The Georgia Military College Bulldogs currently hold a record of (8–1) and Delvin Webb has a lot to do with that.

Delvin Webb stands at 6’0 and 190 pounds playing Strong Safety for the Georgia Military College Bulldogs. So far this season Delvin has racked up 37 solo tackles, 2 pass break ups, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble on the season. The numbers do not tell the whole story about how big of an asset Delvin has been as the defensive leader for the Bulldogs. Delvin can be the catalyst that ignites the Bulldogs Defense at any given moment during the course of a game.

The Bulldogs traveled down to South Florida to face off with a good ASA Silver Storm football team that was no easy out for the Bulldogs. When these two teams faced off twice last year the Bulldogs absolutely dominated the silver storm as they beat them by a combined score of 73-10.

It was evident early that both teams were very familiar with one another after the opening kickoff. The two squads traded three and outs on consecutive possessions. The Bulldogs lead the entire game and seem to put the silver storm away until late in the fourth quarter. The storm seem to be in a position to tie the game up as they were inside the red zone. The storm handed the ball off to Sophmore running back Taeyler Porter who look to have a big gain until Georgia Military College Sophmore Strong Safety Delvin Webb squared Taeyler up and made him go air borne where the ball came loose and the Bulldogs Defense landed on the ball. Delvins game sealing fumble was nothing short of amazing and clutch for the Bulldogs 37-30 victory over the ASA silver storm.

Delvin has hopes of playing division one football. During New Era Preps post game interview with Delvin when asked if he had to tell any coach as to why they should recruit him, he stated “ I’m a big dog coach and I️ make plays!” Delvin also stated his dream school is the University of Florida and he likes LSU and Michigan as potential landing spots to continue his college football career.

Georgia Military College will take on Lackawanna in their next match up. It’ll be another chance for Delvin Webb to prove himself and move up in the college ranks.
