WEST PALM BEACH – In Week 8 of the high school football season, we have a matchup between Palm Beach Lakes and Olympic Heights.

Olympic Heights has been an up-and-down team this season despite its 4-2record. The Lions are looking to get a marquee win this season after failing to do so against No. 1 Dwyer.

With that said, Olympic heights did bounce back from that loss with a 41-16 victory over International School of Broward last week.

Palm Beach Lakes is sitting at .500 with its 3-3 precord. This Rams squad has been a bit puzzling this season as they’ve struggled to find consistent wins.

Lakes is currently on a two-game winning streak after defeating Royal Palm Beach 55-13 and a surprise victory over No. 7 Seminole Ridge in a 25-0 shutout.

Palm Beach Lakes is 1-1 in District 13-7A, while Olympic Heights is sitting at 2-1 in the District. This game will be a very interesting matchup, as both teams have their district title dreams on the line in this matchup.

Lakes beat Olympic Heights 20-7 on its Senior Night in 2017, so expect for revenge to be on the minds of the road team this time in their Week 8 matchup.
